This powerful piece is being shipped to California to a wonderful gentleman called Chris Johnson. He runs a successful rice farm which has been thriving in the family for several generations. It was a joy to paint such an interesting piece inspired by my Set Sail Collection. His family are enjoying the twilight, whilst Chris is at the wheel being acknowledged by one of his ancestors with a subtle hand on the shoulder. This painting is called The Acknowledgement – it’s acrylic on canvas and is 40 x 40inches.
