from canvas to catwalk
This collection isn’t just about accessorising; it’s about transformation. By draping these pieces, the art becomes mobile—shifting and flowing with your body so you aren’t just wearing a painting, you are becoming part of it. Each scarf in The Butterfly and The Koi collections is designed to offer a different visual experience with every fold and knot. To make this movement even more effortless, every scarf comes with a custom scarf ring, allowing you to experiment with various styles—from a classic wrap to a dramatic statement piece—ensuring the artwork is always in motion.
Rebecca’s “Canvas to Catwalk” made its grand debut on the French Riviera, premiering in Nice as a headline feature of the FRONT ROW fashion show. This exclusive event, led by creative powerhouse Latrsi Latrelle (sponsored by Shuba Magazine), celebrated the fusion of fine art and high fashion. Your involvement in the show brought these “Set Sail” and “Koi Fish” masterpieces to life, proving that true art belongs in motion, bridging the gap between the gallery wall and the international runway.
Rebecca Grant de Longueuil’s Canvas to Catwalk collection was born from a pivotal moment in her creative journey — a desire to dissolve the boundary between observer and artwork. She envisioned art not simply as something to be viewed, but experienced, worn, and lived.
From this philosophy emerged a collection of pure mulberry silk scarves: masterpieces translated onto fabric, designed to move with the body. Each piece transforms painting into motion — art that can be worn, wrapped, and carried through the world.
Debuted on the French Riviera, Rebecca collaborated with renowned fashion show choreographer Hayley Bullock and fashion pioneer Latris Latrelle to bring the collection to life. Models showcased the versatility of each design, styled as flowing scarves, sculptural tops, and elegant sarongs, while the original paintings were exhibited alongside the catwalk — uniting fine art and fashion in a single immersive experience.
The collection sold out on its initial release. Today, a strictly limited number of pieces are available, including the celebrated Song of the Seabeast and Golden Hour — timeless works reimagined in silk.
